Sun 7 School

My experience studying Portuguese at the Sun7 School in Barra da Lagoa was nothing short of fantastic! My professor, Eduardo, is a great teacher and a wonderful human being. I came away from my lessons not only with a big improvement in my Portuguese, but also with a new friend. The location in this adorable little beach town is also perfect. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed with plenty of opportunities to practice what you learn with friendly people. I can't recommend this school and this place enough and I certainly plan on going back!

I would highly recommend Sun 7 School to all levels of Portuguese learners. Eduardo, Renata and co are a team of knowledgeable, passionate, flexible, and hardworking teachers who are always striving to improve students’ language skills in both the classroom and real-life settings. The school is a stone’s throw away from the beach and was an ideal location for me to mix learning Portuguese and chilling. Within a relatively short period of time of working with Eduardo, my Portuguese improved to a level where I could hold everyday conversations comfortably. To the team and my fellow students I thank you for all the great memories! If you want to learn Portuguese in a fun relaxed environment this is the place to go!

I came to Florianopolis with very little portuguese, and I left Barra da Lagoa and Sun 7 language school pretty conversational, and with the tools to become fluent in my next few months in Brazil, working and traveling. Eduardo and Renata are, apart from being just fantastic and kind and fun people, are also excellent teachers! Highly recommend both for the spectacular location 15 seconds from the beach, and for the amazing classes, and awesome teachers!!

I had an amazing experience working with Renata for about 1 year via online classes (Skype). Renata greatly helped me learn Portuguese quickly and effectively for virtually all situations. My fluency quickly increased, so much so, I was able to hold professional meetings in Portuguese after a few months. Four years after working with Renata Brazilians still marvel at how good my Portuguese is. I would certainly recommend using Sun 7 school online, if travel to Brazil isn't possible!

I had a great time in Barra da Lagoa and at SUN7. I was there for about one month and I learned quite a lot of portuguese from Eduardo, Renata and Camilla. The teachers were great people with a big heart, as well were the other students there. For everyone who wants to learn portuguese and having fun at the same time I strongly recommend SUN7

I was attending a 2 week course at SUN7 with no background of the Portuguese language. Eduardo was a perfect teacher who made it easy to make fast progress. If you are looking for a Portuguese school this is the perfect one! Additionally the area itself is like paradise. Be careful high risk to return! 😉

La version française suit. Hello, In February-March 2013, I took 2 weeks of Portuguese course at Sun7 School. Marcia, a friend of Renata recommended me Sun7 School ... and she was right! I had taken Portuguese lessons in Quebec to start to learn Portuguese and it was at Sun7 School that I continued and deepened my learning of Portuguese. This allowed me to converse during the rest of my trip to Brazil with my CouchSurfing friends and to facilitate my travels in the country. The two professors Renata and Edouardo taught me and I greatly appreciated them. I would like to go back there to update myself and complete my learning of Portuguese. Long live the Sun7 School! J'avais pris des leçons de portugais au Québec pour m'initier au portugais et c'est à Sun7 School que j'ai continué et approfondi mon apprentissage du portugais. Cela m'a permis de converser pendant le reste de mon voyage au Brésil avec mes amis de CouchSurfing et de faciliter mes voyages dans le pays. Les deux professeurs Renata et Eduardo m'ont enseigné et je les ai grandement appréciés. J'aimerais bien y retourner pour me remettre à jour et compléter mon apprentissage du portugais.
