Patricia is an amazing teacher. She is incredibly patient with her students and provides individualized programs for each student. I have found that my understanding of my own mother tongue’s grammar has improved since I started working with Patricia! I cannot recommend her enough!

As an advanced Portuguese as a second language student who has worked with several instructors over the years, I can say without reservation that Patricia is by far the best. She takes the time to understand the skill level, learning style and objectives of her students and tailored dynamic classes and exercises. This is no surprise since she is a certified neurolanguage coach, a former Portuguese language teacher in Brazilian schools, and also fluent in English. Patricia’s deliberate approach to instruction and her relational style facilitates learning and comprehension more effectively and at a faster pace. It is obvious Patricia enjoys her work which makes learning with her even more fun. I recommend anyone who would like to learn Portuguese or English to consider Patricia.

Patricia is an excellent Portuguese instructor! I have come a long way in 1 year of lessons. While having a structured curriculum, I value the time that Patricia spends forcing me to converse with her in Portuguese. In doing that ,we naturally build on and practice what she has already taught me, and we continuously expand aspects of grammar that I have not yet explored. She really learns her students and our unique interests as well, and taps into those interests in order to aid us in learning Portuguese in a way that feels natural to each student. This makes learning Portuguese fun and feel effortless, all the while seeing tangible results! It's so exciting to see how I've grown, and to feel motivated to keep learning. I would highly recommend Patricia!

A few summers ago, I started learning Portuguese. Despite completing Duolingo, I wasn't conversational. Hiring Patricia made a tremendous difference. I highly recommend her to anyone serious about learning Portuguese!
